Mantel Machine has just purchased their 2nd Hanwha Swiss machine. Like the first one, the second is equipped with live tooling for cross drilling and tapping, off-center face drilling, and milling. It also has the Sub-spindle for picking off and back working. In addition to everything that the first one has, we made the decision to tool this one up with high-pressure coolant, angled head drilling attachment, and chip conveyor. Our first Hanwha has a max capacity of 20mm. For this one, we upgraded to a 35mm machine. It really opens the door to a wider variety of parts that can run through it. Having the ability to pick-up operations that would have otherwise been secondary, and the high quality work that these machines put out, will keep Mantel Machine Products on the cutting edge in machining precision parts.
